WHERE IS MY ATTENTION?
Many of us consider ourselves great multitaskers. Multitasking is the ability to do many (multi) tasks at the same time.
What happens when most of our day is spent multitasking? I don’t know about you, but I find it exhausting and unfulfilling. Sure, I may get many tasks completed and there is a sense of accomplishment that accompanies completion, but what else?
What happens when I leave work? Do I continue with the multitasking mindset or do I downshift to single-tasking?
Hmmmm, where IS my attention?
For this week, ask yourself periodically throughout each day, “Where is my attention?” Just *notice* the answer.
You do not need to change anything. There’s no judgment. Just notice your answer.
